"I’ve had many people tell me that visiting Safari West constituted the single best day they ever spent exploring the open road of the Bay Area." For the safety of our guests and the well being of our animals, we do not allow guests to touch any animal. Under the supervision of a guide and trained animal staff, guests are sometimes allowed to feed giraffes. We can not promise this will occur on every visit.
Doug McConnell has visited Safari West several times and has worked closely with our animal staff.
