About the Speaker:

Sean Place is a Tubbs Fire victim who helped in both the Tubbs Fire and Kincaid Fire surrounded by good friends and under great mentors. I struggled in the loss of the fire and it was with the help and support of Safari West Family I was able to stand tall again. It was known in Safari West that I helped a school in the rainforest mountains of San Miguel Tzinacapan Puebla Mexico. It was suggested and granted that I could use the recycling at Safari West to fund projects in an indigenous community of the Nahuatl Community. Helping the environment by recycling not only helps six schools now but helped me mentally after losing everything in the fire. I was born in San Francisco California, growing up in Sonoma County but given a chance to rebuild my happiness working right at Safari West.
